ered wagons, containing families and outfits,
cross the river at this point; and a great
many of them find their prilgramage ended
in this city, or upon the choice vacant land
in which this county abounds. One lot of
about twenty families from Canada have
nearly all settled In this county within the
past week, and they report more coming.
