K Does It pay to Invest In good" stock ; when it seems to cost a comparative - exhorbitant price, is a question often mrcurrmg tu ia.iiucis, ouu wv jority of cases, is decided In the nega tive. This tardiness is just what makes it pay the enterprising farmer, as they thereby have a more exclusive control of the kind of stock they im port. We the other day learned how ' Mr. W. II. Ilawley's venture In Chcs tervvhite hogs has paid. He pur chased a pair of this breed pome two years since for $30, eince which hehasi sold $230 worth, and has left what he could easily realize $150.for; or a total of about $400 on an investment of $30 for stock which costs less to keep than the ordinary kind, and found a ready -market at all times. Besides a hand some profit Mr. Hawley has earned the thanks of his fellow farmers for his enterprise in this matter. It will pay to invest In good stock. Dreer's Garden Seeds ! ALWAYS RELIABLE.
