At the Fair of the Maryland Institute, which
closed a four weeks session at Baltimore on the 27th
of November, the superiority of the
FLORENCE
was sgain confirmed by the committee on Sewing
Machines, who unanimously awarded it the GOLD
MEDAL, the highest prize the Institute confers.
Oh the 13th of September the Greet Fair and Ex
hibition of the American institute was opened -a
