Judge Reynolds' New House- Pld'anj- one now ask us the question -hare you a good hotel building in your' city?" we could certainly and Irully answer Iu the affirma tive. The building just completed by Judge Reynolds on Main between 2nd,and3rd streets, is certainly so fitted up and arranged as to accommodate a great number of guests com fortably and conveniently. The main build ing is forty-five feet front and is in all two and a half stories high.' It has a dining room 20-40 feet, and a kitchen cojinocted'with it of the same dimensions. The first floor, or sit ting rooms, is arranged in i? style that does great credit to the architect. Altogether It is a No. 1 house, and a splendid stand for a hotel. This is truly tho."ageof progress," aDd the American people are, beyond doubt, far ahead of all others. This is clearly demon strated by tin Sewing Machine which is, strictly speaking, an American invention. In this branch of manufacture "the Empire Sewing Machine Co., office 016 Broadway, New York City, stands pre-eminent. Their "Improved Manufacturing Machine" has no rival. It is built on sound mechanical prin. elples-Ms simple in construction easily un derstood, and not liable to get out of order. Its sewing qualities, jiarticularly on cloth and leather, cannot bo equalled: and as such we recommend it to our friends and the public generally. Sec advertisement. JLIfe Insurance.
