Johnson has sixty three sehol lars in -her department, none higher than the r irst Reader. She has three classes in the Alphabet, six in the First Reader, and two in the j rimary Speller ; she also exercises most of hr depart ment in counting, singing, printing word3 &c. Mrs. McKenzie Las sixty pupils in Ler department, all in tLe Second Reader, divided in three classes : she -has also, two classes in ihe primary Speller, and one in the large Speller.- She Las class es in Geography, Mental Arithmetic and exercises in printing words, and primary drawing, sinin &c.. Mies Morey has fifty pupib in her de partment, two classes in the Tnird Rea der, one in the Fourth, thiee classes in mental Arithmetic, three in Spelling, three in Geography, one in Primary Grammar. The reading and spelling classes in all these departments recite twice a day.
