On motion it uas ordained by the City Council, in regular session assembled, that an advalorcm tax be levied of five mills cn the dollar on ail property subject to territorial or county taxation within the corporate Iitnit3 of the City of Brown ville, as shown by the City Assessment made in the year A. D., 1SG7, fcr .Gene ral City Purposes. That a special tax of ten mills on the dollar of said property foresaid year be levied for the purpose of payiDg off the annuel interest and one tenth of the City Street Improvement Bonds issued in June, 1S07, and those to be issued in October, 'A.
