disease by Quacks, several yean ago directed their Con
sulting Surgeon, as a charitable act worthy of their
name, to open a dispensary for tha treatment of thit
class of diseases, in all their forms, and to Rive Medical
Advice Gratis to all who a jply by letter, with adescrip
tlonof their condition (a ?e, occupation, habit of life,
&.c.) and in easeof extreme? poverty, to furnish medicines
free ot charge. It Is needless to add that the Associa
tion com man -Is thehlphest Medical skill of the age, and
will furnish the most approved modern treatment.
The Directors of the Association, in their Annual Ee
nual Report upon the treatment of Sexual Diseases, ex
press the highest satisfaction with the success which has
attended the labors of their Surgeons in the cure of Sper
matorrhoea; Seminal Weakness; Gonorrhoea; Gleet;
Syphilis; the vic of Onanism or self-abUBe, disease of
ilie Kidneys and Bladder, &.c, and order a continuance
of the same plan for the ensuing year.
The Directors, cn a review of the past, feel assured
that their labors in thissphere -f benevolent effort have
been of great benefit to the afHuted, especially to the
young,, and they have resolved to devote themselves,
with renewed real, to this very Important and much de
spised cause.

Crossing the Missouri river at Brownville,
and outfitting at, and starting from tha t point, not
to be found at any other place on the Missouri Ri
ver. In the first place, on both sides of the river
are large extentsof bottom lands in which grass
makes a much earlierstart than on the uplands, and
is much more abundant, being inexhaustible the
entire season. Here, then, ia a iesirable place to
recruit stock before starting on the Plains. Stock
can alsobepurchasedhere on very favorable term3

powerful machinery, which enables the proprietors
to ferry emigrants and others in the most expedi

Brownville areas well prepared to serve those wish
ing supplies, with a superior quality and on as fav
orable terms as can be found elsewhere. Everything
desirable can be purchased in Brownville, such as

The Route from Brownville to the Micea i uni
versally admitted by those who have traveled it and
others,to be superior in every respect. Brownville
is about midway between St. Jo. and Omaha. As
to distance, an examination of the map is all that
is necessary to prove to any one that : it is nearer
from nere to the mines than from any other point
on the Missouri. On this route wood and water
abound the entire distance, while on many others
wood has to be huicd for many days.
The foregoing facts are fully and satisfivctorily es
tablishei by the immense travel of last year, and
those who adopt it the present season w! 11 have no
cause to regret having done so. lhereiore
