Having spent near twenty years in selecting their
Fruits, they are now convinced that their Utt is unsarpass-

wrjieh they cultivate. Being very desirous of dissemina
ting them as widely as possible, they adopt the method of
sending out small, cultivated stocks for the Nursery, as
being far more practicable and safe, than to incur the great
expense, delay and risk of shipping larpe trees, which
should always be raised near where they are wanted.
Fromjtheir long experience they flatter themselves that
they are perfectly acquainted with the aUve business,
and they graft only such hardy varieties as succeed well
on the root, and but, on needling stocks, and the most de
sirable, tender and half hardy kinds. The gnif ting will be
done at the proper season, and in the best ctauner. The
'stock will be packed securely and shipped by express, with
the greatest care in early spring, to any part of the West.

juring its prosperity, it may do quite well to cir
culate a report of that natnro where the facts are
unknown, but to thosi knowing the facts such a
statement is merely iooush.
And for the purpose of giving a fair opportunity
to persons to ascertain the facts we hereby warn all
persons from purchasing any pretended claim or
interest in the said wwn of Nemaha City, from the
said Jerome Hoover, as he has sold and received pay

medicine is acrimonious and irritating to the bow
els. This is not. Many of them produce so much
griping pain and revulsion iu the system as to more

them. These pill produce no irritation or pain,
unless it arise from a previously existing obstruc
tion or derangement in the towels, licing purely
vegetable, no harm can arise from their use in any
Quantity : but it is better that any medicine should
be taken judiciously. Minute directions for their
use in the several diseases to which they are ap
plicable are given on the hex. Among the com

may" mention Liver Complaint, in its varioliform
of Jaundice, Indigestion, Languor nr.d I.oss of Ap
petite, Listicssr.ess, Irritability, Billons Headache,
Bilious Fever, Fever and Afjuc, Pain in the Side
and Loins ; for, in truth, all these aTe but the con
sequence of diseased action in the liver. As an
aperient they afford prompt end sure relief in Cos
tivencsR, Piles, Colic, Dyscntory, Humors, Scrofula
and Scurvy, Colds with soreness of the body, Ulcers
and impv.rity of the blood, Irregr.larities J in short,
any and every case where a p-irgntive is required.
i'hev have also produced some singularly suc
cessful cures in Rheumatism, Gout, Dropsy, Gravel,
Erysipelas, Palpitation of the Heart, Pains in the
Back, Stomach, and Side. They should be freely
taken in the spring of the ye-ir, to purify the blood
and prepare the system for the change of seasons.
An occasional dose stimulates the 6tomach and
bowels into healthy action, and restores the appe
tite and vigor. They purify the blood, and, by their
stimulant action on the circulatory system, reno
vate the strength of the body, and restore the
wasted or diseased energies of the whole organism.
Hence an occasional dose in advantageous, even
though r.o serious derangement exists; but un
necessary dosing should never be carried too far,
as every purgative medicine reduces the strength,
when taken to excess. The thousand caes in which
a physic is required cannot be enumerated here, but
they suggest themselves to the. reason of every
body ; and it is confidently believed this pili will
answer a better purpose than any thing which has
hitherto been .available to mankind. When their
virtues are once known, t':ie public will no longer
doubt what remedy to employ when in need of a
cathartic medicine. Being sugar-wrapped, they are
pleasant to take, and being purely vegetable, no
harm can arise from their use in any quantity.

Oil, and is admirably adapted to Railroad and S team

Kerosene Lcbricatixo Oils, No. 2, 3. Superior
Lubricators, and will be found to possess advantages

burn and has been thus prepared to meet the re
qnirements of Railroads and others.
Kerosene Binnacle Oil. Prepared expressly
for Ships' nse, and will be found admirably adapted
for use of Steamships, Men of War, Merchant Ves
sels, Lake and River craft, and burns in all cabin
stateroom, binnacle, forecastle lamps, signal lan
terns, 4c.
Binnacle Oil will remain fluid as long as best
Sperm, and will burn all night without requiring to
be trimmed, an advantage that will be obvious to
every Shipmaster.
