across the ' Missouri River at the City of Brown
ville, Nc'oraska, and open the Season with a
new substantial and 'commodious Ferry Boat,
run by Horse Power, which ar-angctnent will becure
certain i 'pr.sago at, all times' and in all kinds of
weather. Tho Proprietors do not assert boastingly,
or for tho purpose of gaining custom merely, but are
governed by facts, when they say this is tho best
crossing of tho Missouri River in Nebraska, and
when they say the route from Brownville to' Fort
Kearney and from thence to California is the nearest,
for evidence they refer tho reader to tho nap of the
Country: and are warranted in saying it is the most
practicable route by personal experience, as well as
that of hundreds of others who have traveled it.--We
claim therefor that this crossing and route holds
out peculiarly favorable inducements, to persons
going to California, and sulieit their patronage. Not
withstanding our superior arrangements for a safe
andspeedy crossing, ourjchargcs are the same as other
