ville, Nebraska, and opea the Seasoa with a
sew substantial and commodioui Ferry Boat,
ru by Uarse Power, which arrangement will secure '
certaia passage at, all times and in all kinds c
weather. The Proprietors do not ass;rt boastingly,
or for th? purpose of gaining custom merely, but are
governed by facts, when they say this is the best
crossing of the Missouri River in Nebraska, and
when they say the route from Brownville to Fort
Kearney and from thence to California is the nearest,
for evidence they refer the reader to the map of the
Country; aad are warranted in saying it is the ma?t
practicable rout by personal experience, as well as
that of hundreds of others who hare traveled it.
We claim therefor that this crossing and ronte holds
out peculiarly favorable inducements, to persons
iroing to California, and solicit their patronage. Not
withstanding our superior arrange nxnts for a safe
and speedy crossing, ourjrharges are the same as other
Ferries ia Nebraska, all being regulated by Legisla
tive enactment.
