Nebr Louise Hoffmann Hill starb selig im Hern ' am 22. Wärt. ,Geboren in Tkrauh, Ruß and. im' Jahre 1832, erreichte sie daS Wer von 87 Jahren und et lichen Monaten. Im Jahre 1850 heiratete sie Martin Hoffmann. welcher 1374 starb, und. trat dann spater mit Heunich HUI, von Walter in die Ehe. Im Jahre 1803 kamen sie nach den Vereinigten .Staaten. ?ftr Mann besuchte 1896 die alte Heimat, wo er aus der Besuchsreise starb. Reichsmchrmmister Dr. Geß ler sagte gestern abend im Reichs tage, daß die Gefahr eines weiteren monarchistischen Putsches größer und näher sei, wie man allgemein an nimmt. Besonder schlimm, sagte Geßler, ist die Lage in Pommern. Er appelliere an die Parteien der Rechten, ihren Einfluß bei den Kon servativen. Reaktionären und mili tärischen Freunden aufzubieten, um eine neue Revolution mit ihren Schrecken zu verhüten. ' Gebier befürwortete eine allgemei ne populäre Union gegen jene Ge walten, die dem Baterland Schaden zufügen wollen. AuS zuverlässiger Quelle verlautet, hob er ferner her vor, daß die Eiserne Division und die Marinebrigade, welche Kapp'S Putsch unten'tützten, in der Nähe "von Münster Feldlager bezogen haben iind bereit sind, die neue Revolte zu unterstützen. Die Bewegung, sagte Geßler, ist nicht direkt gegen Berlin gerichtet; man will erst die Südstaaten für sich gewinnen und dann Berlin von den anderen Teilen Teutschlands ab schneiden und schließlich die bestehen de Regierung stürzen. . A. Tettmers vo,r Greeley, Colo., össent. lich in sein Amt als Pastor der Zions : Congrcgational Arche von Lincoln eingeführt., Tie Kirche war anläßlich der Feier mit schönen Schnittblumcn geschmückt. Morgens predigte Pastor Tettmers zu einer großen Zuhörerschaar. Am Nach mittag war die Kirche so stark an gefüllt, daß nicht nur viele Bänke hergeholt werken mußten, sondern bis vor dem Altar die Lmte zu stehen hatten. Pastor A. Suffa, welcher die Gemeinde 9 Monate bediente, leitete den , Einführungs Gottesdienst. Pastor G. Henkelman betete . zum Anfang, Pastor I. Grove hielt dann die Einführungs. predigt. Pastor Suffa. ein lang, jähriger Freund des Pastor Tett mer, führte den neuen Seelsorger in sein Amt ein ; indem er die Frage an den neuen 'Pastor stellte, ob er die Zions.Gemeinde recht weiden wolle. Mit , einem lauten Ja. mit Gottes Hülfe", übernahm dann Pastor Tettmers seine Pflich ten, wie auch die, Gemeinde mit einem kräftigen Bekenntnis ver sprach, ihren Pflichten nachziikom men. . Bei dieser Feier hatte der Zion Chor herrliche Lieder vorgetragen, der ja so viele Jahre der lieben JionsGcineinde , solche schöne Lieder singt. Herr August Heinz ist ein treuer Arbeiter auf diesem ? Abends predigte Pastor Tettmers zu einer großen Versammlung und ist es der Wunsch und die Hoffnung der Gemeinde, daß der, Klinramechsel dein neuen Pastor die nötige Gesundheit bringt, welche ihnl in Colorado wegen der Höhenlage so sehr fehlte.
