Herr Fred Busch, der wohlbe kannte Besitzer der American Trans fer Co., ist am ?ainstag schwer der unglückt. Als er mit feinem Auto das Jzard Straße Bahngeleisc kreuzte, kain ein Rangierzug daher-gefahren- Herr Busch fürchtete, daß er überfahren würde und sprang aus dem, Auto. Er wurde aber vom Zug erfaßt und geschleift, wobei ihm ein Bein so schioer verletzt wurde, daß man eine Zeitlang eine Amputation für nötig hielt. Der Schwerverletzte wurde in's Wife Memorial Spital gebracht, wo die Aerzte alle Kunst anwenden, um ihm das Bein zu retten. Die Zweitälteste deutsch lutherische Gemeinde in Philadelphia, die Im manuelsgemeinde in Frankiord, an deren Spitze Pastor Henning von Bosse steht, feiet te in dieser Woche ihr 125jähriges Bestehen. Dos erste (Gotteshaus der deut schen Lutheraner Frankfords, das erst im Jahre 151 mit Philadelphia vereinigt wurde, befand sich an Pi tie, zwischen Adams-Itraßc und Frandford-Ave. Es war ein kleines, unscheinbares Gebäude Ter Sinns brief der Gemeinde ist vom Jahre 1702 datiert; es wird daher ange nommen, daß sie in genanntem Jah re gegründet wurde.
