According to the Associated Press congress will adjourn before the mid dle of June, and possibly by June 1, it is believed by President Taft and the administration leaders. And be fore that time it is' expected most of the so-called administration meas ures now before congress will have been passed or, if not, they will be in such shape that they can be enr acted into law soon after congress meets in December. The statehood bill has passed the house, one con servation bill has passed the senate, and the anti-injunction bill is almost ready to be reported favorably to the house. Of the five measures the pos tal savings bank bill, the president has been told, is in the greatest danger, fpr, although it has passed the seriate, it will have a rough time, it is said, in -the h6use committee on postofllces arid postroads, to which it was referred. President Taft has signed the first of the proclamations providing a reclassification of the lands in the national forests, which will throw 4,000,000 acres out of the fbrest reserve and make them available for homestead entry. More than 30.000 acres are ordered out of the Pecos national forest in New Mexico, and nearly 13,000 acres are added.
