democratic principles. If the party at Denver
makes the mistake they did in 1904 we will
experience the same results we did then. The
"interests" are now trying to get a man they
can handle in their own interest. The rank and
file want Mr. Bryan and he will carry this state
as he did in 1896. I am anxious to get such
- men in our state convention who will instruct
the delegates at Denver to vote for Mr. Bryan
first, last and all the time.
