IHE above is the title of a book written by RICHARD L. METCALFE. The third edition of this handsomely bound little vol
ume has just come from the press. The remarkable sale which this book has attained in so short a time stamps it as the most
popular; book of the year. The impression that this book has made upon authors, statesmen, scholars, .ministers and laymen
who have read it is phenomenal. The many voluntary letters written to Mr. Metcalfe, expressinc appreciation of the valuable
