Singleton in a beautiful double ring ceremony in Atchison, Kan. The bride is the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Kerford Sr. of Atchison. Her father’s family owns the famed Kerford Quarry in Atchison. The federal government has rented a storage cave owned by this firm— a cave which is the world’s larges natural refrigerator. The bride is wearing a white Alecon lace gown of ballerina length over bridal satin with ny lon tulle winged panels flowing from each seam of the skirt. In her hand she is carrying a white Bible topped with a large white orchid tied with white satin streams on which are fastened lilies of the valley. Her veil is of nylon tulle with satin shell trimmed with seed pearls. The bridegroom is the son ol Mr. and Mrs. Walter Singleton of Kansas City, Kan. He is a grad uate of Howard university. The new Mrs. Singleton has a B.A. from the University of Kansas and a master’s degree from Adel phi college, Garden City, N. Y. She is a member of Delta Sigma sorority. OPS Posters To List Prices For Services 1 Customers of repair shops and other “service” establishments will soon find ceiling prices plainly listed on official OPS posters. ! The new method of listing ceil |ing prices on standard forms pro vided by OPS will replace the varied methods which service businesses have been using. The poster contains 20 blank lines on which each shop will list its prin cipal services and their ceiling prices. Businesses affect e d include laundries, tailor shops, dry clean ers, parking lots, service stations, and shops doing repair work on shoes, radios, television sets, household electrical equipment, watches and clocks, furnaces, heaters, automobiles and trucks.
