Race Relations
DETROIT (ANP>— Four per
sons received the, annual award of
St. Cyprian’s Episcopal church last
week for outstanding achievements
in race relations.
The four are Hoke Levin, white,
president of Hardley-Finsterwald
Co., Mrs. Fred T. Murphy, white,
civic leader, of Grosse Pointe,
Mich., John C. Dancy, director of
the Detroit Urban League and Dr.
William Gordon, a druggist of
Pontiac, Mich, and member of
Pontiac Urban League.
Levin received his citation for
introducing complete integration
among employes of his company
regardless of race or creed.
