Brooks, who has served the Lincoln church, left early Thurs day morning for Sacramento, Calif., where he will be pastor of the First AME Church. Paying tribute to Rev. Brooks, besides his congregation, were ministers from three Lincoln churches: Rev. William I. Monroe, Mt. Zion Baptist; Rev. R. G. Na than, Newman Methodist; and Rev. Trago McWilliams, Christ Temple. “We have found Rev. Brooks a man of unsurpassed worth,” said Rev. McWilliams. “He has not only made a material but a spir itual contribution to Quinn Cha pel, Lincoln and the world.” Noting that Rev. Brooks is a man called to by God to preach to the world, Rev.
