Heading the list are three men from the New York Pioneer club, Eddie Conwell, sprint star; Hugo Miaocco, quarter miler, an Ros coe Browne, half miler. Others making the trip are Cur tis Stone, distance man from the New York A.C., and Bob Rich ards, 15 foot vaulter from the Illinois A.C. This summer the AAU will send three squads of trackmen over seas—11 to Japan, 12 to Switzer land, Italy, France, Germany and Austria, and 15 to England, Scot land, Iceland and Norway. Members of these squads will be selected on the basis of re sults of the National AAU out door championships at Berkeley, Calif., June 22-23.
