Hi Teens:
Well, school is out for some of
us. The last day was Monday.
* * *
Picknicking Sunday, May 21,
were six car loads of teens. Where
were they? At Pioneers park. What
did they do for recreation? They
played baseball. Then I bet you
couldn’t guess what they did after
doing all that playing, could you?
Well I will tell you, they ate.
(Smiles). Then every one spent
the rest of the evening informally.
Among those seen were: Martha
Hammonds, James Ware, Betty
Bowman, Robert Hammonds, De
Lores Bowen, Charles Finney, Lo
retta McWilliams, Maurice Rus
sell, Joyce Williams, Richard Hol
comb. They all reported having
a good time.
* * *
Seen taking in the sights Sun
day, May 21st, were Birdie Pow
ell, David Wilson, Doris Powell,
Connie Wilson and Cecil Hatcher.
They were riding in a blue car.
* * *
Thursday night, May 25th, Ma
rion Bradford came to Lincoln to
spend some time. I noticed Bobby
Finney also was scheduled to leave
around that time. Could she have
come down to bid farewell?
* * *
Friday night Vonna Finley gave
her recital at Irving school. She
sang two songs with the last be
ing accompanied by a solo ballet
dance. They were “Love Is Where
You Find It’’ and “Just a Kiss in
the Dark.” •
Bye now,
ELOISE.
