The students are all very Inter
ested In the latest sociological
film out. The name of it is
"Pinky.” It is now pluying at
one of the theaters downtown.
Several of the students have seen
the picture, and the general con
census is an appreciation of the
deep sociological factors that are
presented in such a dramatic
fashion. Anyone who is interested
in the conditions which prevail in
certain sit nation* regarding the
Negro in the South h advised to
see the movie.

Everybody is anticipating the
social season activities. Coming
to the campus soon to open the
formal season of the year will be
Tony Pastor and his troupe of
artists.

The dollar shortage fes a prob
lem which affects most individuals
concerned with campus hfe, as
well as any other walks of life.
The members and guests of the
Cosmopolitan club on last Wed
nesday heard Dr. Maurice C.
Latta of the Business Administra
tion College, who lectured on the
dollar shortage and devaluation,
of the pound in Britain.

The Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority
held a meeting Sunday at the Stu
dent Union. Several of the Omaha
members were present.
