m
i Best Dressed Woman |
Mrs. Mary L. Greene, has been
chosen "Best Dressed Woman”
for 1948.
She lives with her parents, Mr.
and Mrs, Charles Walker, 2200
Dudley and has been employed in
various ready-to-wear shops
which no doubt added to her ap
preciation of styles and quality of
dress.
Mrs. Greene states that this
choice may have come as a result
of her early selections. She se
lects her wardrobe as soon as the
styles are displayed, thus giving
her an advantage in many re
spects. She selects her spring
wardrobe in February and her
summer wardrobe in May.
Mrs. Greene says that she
never thinks in terms of a par
ticular pair of shoes or hat or
dress, but of a complete outfit,
and she dislikes wearing it more
than two or three times.
The Best Dressed Man
W. P. Keys, 2019 T, was cho
sen “Best Dressed Man” for
1948.
Mr. Keys is employed with the
Burlington Railroad. He says
he doesn’t think too much of
dressing now, he simply selects
his complete wardrobe as soon
as the styles are shown and he
has always been very careful to
wear the correct things at the
correct times. He says he thinks
that is the way it should be
done.
Mr. Keys has traveled exten
sively and he feels that this is to
some extent responsible for his
consciousness of dress.
It is nice to know that when
you help someone up a hill you
are a little nearer the top your
self.
