How to Remove Stains
Attempts to remove stain
should be made as soon as poss
ible. In any case, it must be
treated before exposed to hot
water and soap. It is often more
economical in the end to send
blouses and dresses to a dry
cleaner rather than experiment
with the removal of spots at
home.
Before using any chemical
on a stain, test an inconspicuous
part of the material.
Pour boiling water from a hight
of 2 feet. If stains remain
bleach with lemon juice or sun
light.
FRUIT STAINS
Sponge immediaely with
water. If stain remains send to
cleaners.
MILDEW
Bleach with Javelle water, then
launder. Old mildew is almost
impossible to remove. Alternate
applications of oxalic and pot
SCORCH
When scorch is light, dampen
it and place in sun light. Bleach
with hydrogen peroxide if nece
If scorch is light, apply hydrogen
peroxide; then rinse immediately.
Deep scorch cannot be removed,
other childhood diseases. Be on
the safe side.

Wives should remember that
the average man is like an egg.
If you keep him in hot water, he
soon becomes hard boiled.
Health should be prized above
everthing because it is the ess
ence of happiness.

languages is an asset, but to be
able to hold your tounge in one
