Negro Press Subscription rate $2.00 per year 10c per copy To The Editor: I should like to see more pic tures of Lincoln people in The Voice: I also think the paper should sell for 5 cents instead of 10 cents. K. F. ' There are perhaps any number of persons who would like to ask these same questions. We too would like to have more local persons featured in The Voice. We are getting a greater response every week, but it simply takes time to get the public to realize that this is their paper and it will be what they make it. As to the price of the paper, few people who are not engaged in newspaper work have any idea what it costs to operate one. We have discussed with a few people what we have spent to date and they have nothing more to say. At $2 a year you get the Voice for less than 4c per copy. To The Editor: I would like to suggest that you get several persons throughout the city to gather news items of general interest to all people. Rev. R. L. M. We now have Miss Ann Watson Southerman of Ann’s Beauty Shoppe, 704 No. 22nd St., Mr. John Miller, 309 So. 20th St., and Mr. Charles Washington, 916 P Street, together with the reporters of each church, and each feature writer. We believe that the min isters could assist in getting the congregations to realize the im portance of sharing an account of their activities. -o Pythagoras bade his disciples be silent, or speak what is better than silence. -o Silently one by one, in th* in finite meadows of heaven Blossomed the lovely stars, the forget-me-nots of the angels. —Longfellow Teen Age Chatter Reporter Dotty Greene Asst.
