Mix mush room soup and milk, pour over potatoes. Cover and bake in moderate oven \x/z hours. Serves 8 to lp. Meat Loaf iy> lbs. ground meat 1 onion, chopped Yz can tomato soup 1 cup fresh bread crumbs 1 egg, beaten 1 Yz teaspoons salt Ya teaspoon pepper Mix the above ingredients, form into loaf. Place in shallow pan » in moderate oven (350 degrees) Meanwhile combine the follow ing: l2 can tomato soup 2 tablespoons brown sugar or molasses 2 tablespoons prepared mustard 1 cup water 2 tablespoons vinegar Pour over meat loaf: bake about 1 hour more, basting • aT least once. Serves 4 to 6. "BB's" Own Salad 1 medium head of lettuce shred ded 2 crisp carrots shredded 1 cup pineapple diced 1 cup Miracle Whip Salad Dress ing 1 heaping tablespoon horseradish Toss lettuce, carrots and pine apple together. Mrs. Irene James spent a few days in Omaha during the week with relatives. An Atchison, Kansas visitor during the week was Mr. Ley who spent a few days with his sister, Mrs. Zenobia Red. Services at Solomon A. M. E. Church were well attended all day Sunday with three additions to membership.
