Handy Scripture Text—John 3: 1-11, 16. 3 7. Subject— “Jesus interviewed by Nicodemus. Memory verse— “Except a man be born again, he can not see the Kingdom of God.” John 3:5. —The Lesson down to date— All classes and races of men are looking and longing for a better place in which to live. To be far removed from strife, envy and malice is the dream of every one. We have h»ard of a city called Heaven, whose builder and maker is God, and we long to belong. A rich, educated, man came to Jesus, to talk about citizenship in that fair land. Jesus told him that to gain a passport to heaven, “he must be born again.” This was strange talk to Nico demus. He had worldly know ledge, but was ignorant in the ways of God. But the wisdom of man is fool ishness with God. Only God can bring about a new birth for us. With this new birth, what a transformation takes place. The drunkard, the thief, the murderer, no matter how dyed the sin. all is blotted out; the thief steals no more. The drunkard, forsakes his cup and peace takes the place of conflict. Your pass port is stamped on your heart by the blood of Jesus and your elec tion to heaven is sure. Have you experienced this ‘New Birth”? Be sure, it is yours for the ask ing:- Come without price, wheth er you are rich or poor, high or low, white or black. -n Choir Installation Mt.
