Several visitors were in the
audience Sunday morning. The
message as usual was of fiery in
spiration. More than $30.00 was
reported late, but accepted, for
the bond rally which officially
ended October 13.
The sick of the church are all
improved, Mrs. Favors, Mrs. Bart
lett, Mrs. Ceasar, Mrs. Bonds, and
Mrs. Craft.
We were shocked by the sud
den passing of one of the pioneer
settlers of Lincoln and a life-long
faithful member of Mt. Zion, Mrs.
Ida M. Todd. She served in many
capacities of the church, past
president of the Mission Society
.choir member, and was a senior
deaconess until the end. She will
be greatly missed. Surviving her,
one son, William, of the home;
three nephews, Earlin Sparks,
Des Moines, Iowa, Edward Todd
and Walter Gill of Lincoln; other
relatives and a host of friends.
Services were held Wednesday at
the church.
