    Author To Issue Monthly
Race Relations Bulletin
NEW YORK— (ANP)—Margar
et Halsey, author of “Color
Blind,”—a white woman Looks at
the Negro” announced last week
that she and a group of friends
who were concerned about racial
problems, will issue a monthly
bulletin of news and suggestions
for friends of their cause.
The project originated out of
the letters which began to reach
her as soon as her book was pub
lished. Many were from indivi
duals who expressed themselves
as anxious to promote better
racial relations, but did not know
how to proceed.
~ “What we need jus^ now is a
great many individuals with a
little courage rather than a few
persons with a great deal of cour
age,” Miss Halsey said. “For in
stance, enough people writing
letters to members of congress
would change the moral climate
of this country in one year.”
The first issue of the bulletin
is promised for December 1. (43)

The annual report of the Bro.

The kind wisdom and brotherly
love shown by our District Chair
man Rev. O. A. Askerneese who
lead this great meeting thru what
“old timers” said was the best

brotherly love that permeated
throughout the entire session
