Several towns on the Sargent and
Burwell branches of the Burlington
are agitating a proposed change of
passenger service. The scheme con
templates leaving Aurora about 5
o’clock in the morning. af:er the ar
rival of No. 41? from the east. Reach
ing their respective terminals at
about 9 a. m.. they would start on
the return trip at 10 and arrive in
Aurora shortly after 2 p. m. By
scheduling No. 40, the east-bound
local noon train, about an hour later
a good connection would be made
here, and it is believed that similar
arrangements can be made for con
nection with No. 12. a through train
for the east, at Lincoln. This would
give the people up the north branches
an early morning mail service, which
they have long desired, and would
undoubtedly draw considerable busi
ness to the Burlington from competi
tive points.—Aurora Republican.
