Robert Dinsdale received seven cars from Omaha, making sixteen cars handled by the Burlington that day. At the state meeting of county treasurers at Omaha last week Thursday. County Treasurer F. M. Henry of this county was elected vice president of the as sociation. Taylor's Elevator. Last Friday afternoon at Aus tin, the Presbyterian people there and from Wiggle Creek, to the number of about 60, assembled at the home of Wm. Couton and gave Rev. Tourtellott and bis wife a farewell reception and present ed them with a set of solid silver teaspoons in remembrance of his pastorate of the church at Austin. A very pleasant afternoon was spent by those present Last Friday evening at the Presbyterian church in this city was held a farewell reception to Rev. J. C. Tourtellot who resign ed the pastorship of the church here to accept the pastorate of the church at Denison, Iowa. The church was fairly well filled by the church people and friends of the departing minister and his wife. An interesting program of music and other exercises was rendered, and a nice little lap lunch of sandwiches, cake and coffee was served. Rev. Tourtel lot shipped his household goods last Friday, he himself leaving by auto for Denison Monday and Mrs. Tourtellot and little daugh ter going Tuesday morning. SHIRTS! SHIRTS!
