Bagged Snipes With Light j We have a good snipe story of a . green gawk who. while in the east part ;of this countv some time since, went i down on the creek and held a sack i for several lfours to catch snipes as j tiiev came down the draw, attracted i bv the light back of the open-mouthed I sack held by Greedv-gut Charles. It is a good one and vouched for by people who Dnt up the old time gam ; on the gullible jimpson weed. It showed what a darupheol the guy was. We expect to give the story in full later. “You may laugh, but if the light had been held right behind the sack, II would have bagged two or three snipes, as they whized by us.” Got Even B’gosh The special train, leaving here Sun day morning, carried but seven pas snegers. One half of that number left the train at Comstock. The special was chartered by Loup City and the attraction there was a ball game between the local team and Scotia.
