Broken Bow is making an effort to
| deflect the proposed Canada-to-the
: t«u:f line from its air line course from
j Kearney to Carrington, North Da
i kota, through Loup City and Old, and
| run it through Broken Bow. They]
acknowledge that it will only cause
the line to go some two hundred miles
out of the straight course and that
they can secure it they express no
doubt. That live city is about the
most visionary of any bailiwick in
existance, and nothing is too strenu
ous for it to tackle. It is a
good deal like the farmer’s bull that
was continually getting in front of
the train near it’s master’s land with
the intention of trying conclusions
with the iron horse. After driving
the pesky critter from the track num
bers of times and thus saving it's
precious neck, the bull again got in
front of the engine too late for the
farmer to round it away, with the
inevitable result. As the farmer sor
rowfully gathered up the remnants of
the critter later, he remarked with
some warmth, * I admire your nerve,
but damn your judgment.

Did it ever occur to you, that you
are getting a much better price for your cream delivered in
Loup City, than is being paid in surrounding towns, and
country and all because there is a creamery locate i in Loup
City. If it were not for the creamery located here, the price
would undoubtediy be the same as at the surrounding points.
Why not give the Creamery the benefit of your pat

rather than be sending your cream out of the country to larger
towns and cities, that only care for us iu proportion to
the amount of business they get ont of our community.
The Ravenna Creameay Co. is paying 24c for cream
delivered at the creamery: compare this price with thepric93
