Musser. Coroner Main, County Attorney Starr and tlie sheriff, accompanied by a number from this city Immedi ately went to the scene by team and auUM. Arriving at the place desig nated, tlie following fact* were made plain: Lying at the rear of a large two seated carriage, on the side of the road, Just a few yards east of the H. A M. tracks, with the litad rest ing on a rear wheel, lay the body of a Itusnlan Colander, named Tony Hrac/olls, cold and stiff In death. A Jury was at once empaneled, the Issiy taken to the barn on the Ktenger place and examined by the coroner The body was then taken to tdwn and the examination and facts hi regard to the untimely death had In the undertaker’s rooms In the afternoon, beginning at 2 p. m.. were as follows: Deceased, who since some time In January had been working for Kd Manchester In Oak Creek township, was summoned by subpoena to appear yesterday In a case In county court. Last evening, between 7 and H o'clock, be started up the valley, driving the team of Kd Manchester, with which he had drove down. Intending to visit over night at the home of Tony Trebo. Arriving at the cross roads about a half mile east of tlie Ktenger place, he evidently missed the read and went directly west past Stenger's, Instead of keeping on the main road as he should. About half way be tweeu the house and the railroad t rack, and driving at a brisk rate, as waa shown by tlie scene, the team swerved to the left Into a bad cut at the side of the road, the carriage was overturned, throwing hbu out, evidently rendering him unconscious. The back portion of the carriage was drawn over tlie body, when the team became entangled and stopped, where they wdre found when the crowd got there about ten o'clock this morning with the body In the position above named One of the horses was Injured so badly that it was killed later. 1 deceased was about 21 years of age and had no relatives nearer than Omaha, where it is understood he has a brother or cousin In one of the packing houses, though no one can be found to verify this.
