Some six years ago last August, Ray Thrasher found an ancient coin at Oak Grove, eight miles north we> t of Arcadia which he has handed to the editor for inspection. The coin hears date of the year 1052 and is battered and worn to a point nearing extinction of the lettering and symbols inscribed thereon. Will some friend who has a powerful microscope call at this office with the same and with us attempt to establish the identity of said coin, which seems to lie over 850 years old.
