Quite an excitment was gotten up in town last Saturday over a small-pox story from Ashton, but upon investiga tion the alarm proved a false one. Mrs. A O. Hendrickson, of Litchfield remembered the printer when in the city last week by depositing the w here with for another years subscristion. G. II.
