SMIIKK l>ll.Y Celebrates The Flfthlcth Annlversery of Their Wedding Hay. Several weeks ago Mr. and Mrs..f. M Snyder announced the fact, that they would celebrate their golden wedding at the I.oup City opera house, duly 2 It98, Invitations were extended to many of their friends, particularly to relatives of the family and old pioneer settlers of Sherman county and the event was looked forward to with much interest, not only by Mr. and Mrs. Snyder but by their host of friends. Great preparations were made by Mr. and Mrs. Snyder for entertaining their many guests and equally as great an Interest was manifested by those attend ing In making the occasion one of which fend memories will ever be cher ished. The day was a rainy day, which to a certain extent delayed the eerctnonios and prevented many from attending, but never the less a good crowd was present, all of whom came (liPAiioh IliP mill f A U'lf nfkH the PPre inoiiy of this aged and honored couple and to bestow congratulations upon them. Sand wicks, several kinds of rich cake, i goodly variety of meats, pickles, am a very choice selection of fruits helper to make up the hill of fair, ani best o all there was enough and lots to spare The writer has been fortunate euougl to partake of the best dinners ever ser veil In this city on various occasions but none lietler than this one.
