LHt Sunday while returning from a
visit at Mrs. Diinn'i north of town, a load
of young folks composed of Ollivette
Dunn, Ida Moravek, Rose Brewster (the
teacher of the Intermediate room,) Ben
Kinley, and Ed 8coi.t, was upset and
mostly injured. One of the horse's tugs
came unhooked and let the tongue down.
This frightened the horses and away they
went turning the sprimr wagon over and
ran into to town without it. The teacher
had her ankle dislocated, Ida Moravek
her face badly bruiped aod Ollivette Dunn
a leg injured. The boys were lucky as
neither of them received an injury. All
ar improveim; rapidly. The teacher
was unable to teach for a couple of days
but m able (with tha asniUnce of a
crut:h to resume her duties in the sWiool
room again. This accident happened a
quarter of a mile out of town.
The Epworth Ingoe had a public in
rtalUtioo of officer Isxt Hominy night,
and each' officer gave a hriel talk, out
lining the dutiesof his or her work. As
this was the first time that the officers
installed attempted to aspire to speech
making, they acquainted themselves
creditably. There waa a large atten
dance notwithstanding the inclemency of

response for the aggressive step' in the
Masters work. The Ep worth League is
doing a great good throughout tha land
and should be encouraged by all, for
there is w much of the evil side presen
ted to us daily, that when a young mun
or a young lady has the courage to stand
up for right they shall receive at least
recognition from till that believe in some
