Pennard, Ark., Sept. 7. Mr. E. J.
Ilickx, merchant ef this place, has
written for publication an account of
a personal experience, which Is very
Interesting.
"Iam an old Federal soldier," writes
Mr. Hicks, "and shortly after the close
of ihe war I was taken sick. I had
aches and pains all over me, fluttering
of the heart and stomach trouble. I

out pain. I could not sleep at night,
