could make our town once a month, we

Albert Sutton, brother of Lcey,
Sutton came down to the Ridge from the
Big Horn basin, about a we-k ago, aod
Monday and Tueday was visiting in lar
nson and vicinity. Mr. Suttoc was ac
companied by his wife and children.
Tlvy returned to their home yesterday.
Albert, since going to the biz Horn coun
try, has made a nice little stake and is
in a fair way to make an iudeindent
fortune in a very short time.
Oh, no! the republican nominee
for congress will not be elected this fall.
The stav-at-home reform vote, in this
district last fall were taught a wbolsome
lesfton in the election of a republican leg
islature thereby causing the election of

most able champion of the rights of the
people in the U. 8. senate. Hon. W. V,

and his faimlv will go to Iowa, on a
visit for a mouth or so, when they expect

Quite a number of the Montrose peo
nle were in Harrison yesterday, with
the expectation of hearing the ca-e, of
Baurngurd vs. Jordan, which was sup
posed by the parties would coma up for
trial in justice Sinuck's court on that
date. The cas, however was not tried
