Here in a condenced statement of re
sources: ' The capital block of the Trans
MissisMippi Exponition is $1,000,000.
nearly $500,000, in stock has been sub
scribed. The railroad have contributed
$100,000, to date. Government and state
appropriations amount to 100,000.
Western states and territories have up
to this time appropriated $55,000, and
the Illinois appropriation is (45,000.
The Omaha park commission has appro
priated nearly $50,000. Omaha and Doug
las county will vote exposition bonds in
the sum off 100 ,000.
Stock subscription will reach 1,000,
000., Agricultures and live stock will ba
made prominent features of the Exposi
tion. The managers take the view that
the Trans-Mississippi region is a great
farming and stock raising country, with
which fact it is desirable to impress east
ern visitors. The same is true of the min
ing industry, and the three features of
i agriculture. live stock and raining will
coastituto the most extensive depart
ment of the great Exposition.
The task of securing exhibit for the
Trans Missippi exposition is being vigour
onsly prosecuted by tha Department of
Exhibits and the prospects continue to

hibits are already contracted for and in
process of preparation than are to be
at the Tennessee exposition and the indi
cation are that the Trans.MississippiEx
position will develops astonishing pro

on motion was accepted.
The Official Bonds of Fred Lelthoff as Road
Overseer in Highland precinct, District So.
IB, and John Herman as Road Overseer In
Antelope precinct, District No. t, and II. H.
Hussell as Itoad Overseer In Andrews pre
cinct, District No. 1.1, wore presented and on
motion approved.
On motion Hoard adjourned to meet Im
mediately after adjourning as a board of
Equalization.
