Here in a condenced statement of re sources: ' The capital block of the Trans MissisMippi Exponition is $1,000,000. nearly $500,000, in stock has been sub scribed. The railroad have contributed $100,000, to date. Government and state appropriations amount to 100,000. Western states and territories have up to this time appropriated $55,000, and the Illinois appropriation is (45,000. The Omaha park commission has appro priated nearly $50,000. Omaha and Doug las county will vote exposition bonds in the sum off 100 ,000. Stock subscription will reach 1,000, 000., Agricultures and live stock will ba made prominent features of the Exposi tion. The managers take the view that the Trans-Mississippi region is a great farming and stock raising country, with which fact it is desirable to impress east ern visitors. The same is true of the min ing industry, and the three features of i agriculture. live stock and raining will coastituto the most extensive depart ment of the great Exposition.
