The Fremont, Elkhorn & Missouri
Valley railroad crosses Sioux county
from cast to west and the b. & M. Uns
about fifteen miles of its line in the
northeast part of the county.
The climate is more pleasant than that
of the eastern portion of Nebraska.
There is still
of land in Siottx county yet open to
homestead entry. It is better land and
more desirably located than tliut for
which such rushes are made on the open
iug of a reservation. There is no rail
road land in the county and for that
reaon its settlement has been slow for
no sjiecial tlfort to pet settlers was
made, as was done in the early days of
the settlement of the eastern part of the

buy land cheap are invited to come and
see the country for tbeinsel ves nnd judge
of its merits. Jlotnesteads will not lie
obtainable much longer and if ou want
to use your right and get 110 acres of
land from Uncle Ham free it is time you
were about it.
