Jacob Stoneking and Archie Akers wero arrested in Cottouwood precinct last week for rustling beef. The case was brought btlore u justice of the peace but was changed to the county court and the examination began on Tueeday und lasted until last evening und resulted in the discimitfe ef the pris oners. The prosecution was conducted by the county attorney and Messrs. Porter und bailey were for the defeuse. A number of witnesses were examined und Jnd;je Wilson decided that the evi dence was not auilicieul to hold them to appear at the district court.. The ieople from that part of the county do uot feel very good over tho result und it is pretty tough when a oor man has his last cow stolen and tan sret no re dress. It Is bud enough for range stock to be rustled but this case is oven worm.
