President Mi-Kinley's second cull for
volunteers, asking for ?5.(MK) men. w ill
meet with a hearty response. Inde
pendent companies are already organ
ized in Minnesota. Michigan, Wiscon
sin, Iowa, Indiana. Illinois and other
states, and these will be offered to the
service of the country.

from the camp to the Missouri Pacific

veterans and Marshall's band. They
were given a great sendoff by a large

Pacific hauled them iu three sections.
