the pope, is Christ's vlce-gerent, and is the
true and only head ot the Catholic or uni
versal church throughout the earth; and
that by virtue of the keys of binding and

Jesus Christ, he hath power to depose her
etical kings, princes, states, commonwealths

the churches of England and Scotland, of
the Calvlnlsta, Huguenots and others of the
name of Protestant or Liberals, to be dam-
eable, and they themselves to be damned
who will not fersake the same.

and advise all or any of his holiness' agents,

The following is the oath taken by
the members of that famous Romish
Catholio society :

This oath the candidate Is abjured to
keep at the hazzard of his life. It was
printed In the Chicago inter Ocean and
was sworn to be correct at the Cronin
trial. It was reported by Bald paper
November 17, 1894. Priests and bishops
act as chaplains for this holy (?) order.
