Cannon Law.
I. The constitutions of prlnees are not
anperior, but subordinate to ecclesiastical
Constitutions.
t. The laws of the emperor cannot dls-

anything opposed to the apostolic rules.

This oath the candidate is abjured to
keep at the hazzard of his life. It wat
prlntei in the Chicago Inter Ocean and
was sworn to be correct at the Cronin
trial. It waa reported by said paper
November 17, 1894. Priests and bishopt
