There Is no particular change to note In this
market since last Issue. s. The most active trad
ing In any one article has been In potatoes.
These are still in cood demand and all arrivals
are absorbed readily. There has not been a
season for some years with ruch a big demand
and at fair prices. Choice Burbanks bringing ,
7K to 80 cents per bushel In car lots. Other good
wull assorted varieties 74 to-78 cents. Mixed
stock 65 to 67 cents. Apples are holding up
well In price and all good shipping stock sells
readily at 13 to 83.25 per barrel. Under con
tinned light receipts of butter the price has ad
vanced and the best makes of creamery
are bringing 30 to 31 cents, fair makes
27 to 28 cents. Best makes of dairy 25 to 26 cents.
Eggs continue In light supply at 22 to 23 cents.
I he Beason for dressed poultry is now on hand
and a large amount will be wanted for f hanks
glvlng. .
Prices rule at present at Byt to 9 cents for hens,
springs 10 cents, turkeys 11 to cents, ducks
10 to 12 cents. Th receipts of game continue
light and all arrivals in good order are taken
readily at previous qotatlonsK Beans con
tinue In good demand at f 1 9i to 12 per bushel
for hand picked, f 1.75 to $1.85 for machine
cleaned.
There Is a fair demand for the best grades of
, hay at 118 to 112.50 for No. 1 timothy. Ill to $11.50
for No 2 and 810 to $11 for mixed timothy.
Choice prairie Is bringing 89 to 810.
. The receipts ef broom corn still continue light
and all offerings are taken readily at previous
prices quoted -
The grain market is higher all around. Wheat
closed at 724 cents to 73 cents. Corn 41 cents
and oats 31 V4 cents.
