There is no use trying to make out that Crete is any different from other little cities of its class. There is vast ly more of the social evil in fifty towns of a thousand inhabitants each than there is in a city of 50,000. They try and always fail. True, they can scat ter the evil, just like a boil that threatens on the neck may be scat tered.
