Have you any adequate conception of what the Lincoln Traction Company is doing
towards making Lincoln an Industrial Center; what it is doing to make the "Dinner
Bucket Brigade" longer and happier?
BEAR THESE FACTS WELL IN YOUR MIND
During the twelve months ending December 1,
1911, the Lincoln Traction Company paid in wages
to its employes, exclusive of office salaries, the
enormous sum of
THREE HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS
This money was spent with Lincoln merchants,
went into the building of new homes, was used to
educate the future citizens. No other corporation or
company in Lincoln employs so many people or pays
such a uniformly good wage. The men in the Lincoln
Traction Co.'s Car Service receive an average wage
higher than the average wage paid to the same class
of employes throughout the United States. The Lin
coln Traction Company maintains a Voluntary Relief
Benefit Association for its employes.
