The livest thing that has come out of Lincoln for a long while is Will
Maupin's Weekly. It succeeds the Wageworker,which Mr. Maupin has published
for several years, and it is the ambition of its editor to make it a journal of state
wide interest and influence. If marked individuality of style and expression,
trenchant wit, extensive knowledge of Nebraska affairs and an intensive culture
hereof, combined with a broad-minded courage and impartiality in discussing
men and affairs can accomplish this result then Will Maupin's Weekly ought to
